Structural analysis and design advisory

The headquarters for Regione Lombardia is a 529-ft tall reinforced concrete building, and currently the tallest building in Italy. As part of this project MAC’s Principal assisted ECSD to verify the design an innovative steel truss and TEXLON membrane roof covering the building’s internal court. This truss and membrane structure spans 492 ft in the long direction and 164 ft in the transverse direction.
